We offer several treatment options for teens and pre-teens:
Beginning braces at just the right time is one of the keys to keeping time in braces to a minimum and an early evaluation allows us to do just that – begin at the optimal time. Between the ages of 11 and 15 is the most common time to start treatment but each child is unique and an early exam is your best way to be prepared. Even if all of the permanent teeth are not in, seeing your child early will give us the best opportunity to plan ahead. Call us any time for a complimentary consultation.
Once our doctor takes a look, if your child is not ready to begin just yet, you and your child will be able to take away some important answers from the initial consultation such as approximate cost, insurance, and when will be a good time to start. Armed with more information, you and your child will feel more comfortable and prepared when the time comes to begin treatment!
We are centered on bringing your child their best results. Straight teeth is what we do and we have some of the most experienced doctors in the business doing it! With over 25,000 finished cases, we have worked out all the kinks - literally! All of our x-rays are digital. Impressions are quick and simple digital scans, no messy and goopy stone impressions to contend with. Using leading edge technology allows us to respect your time and busy schedule, often recommending up to 12 weeks between appointments while the robotic wires work out the twists and turns or the patient changes their clear aligning trays on schedule. Many of our patients can finish treatment with just 8, in-office appointments!
Since we believe braces are a team sport, we like to keep both parent and child well-informed. Our offices are designed so that parents can come back for the appointments with their child to stay informed on how treatment is progressing, hear about keeping braces clean, listen to appliance instructions, or have the opportunity for us to answer any questions that may arise. We are in this together! We think you are going to like it here!
