How does orthodontic insurance work?
Orthodontic insurance differs from regular dental insurance in that it rarely pays for treatment in full. A typical orthodontic plan provides each eligible individual with a maximum lifetime benefit amount. This benefit is paid out until treatment ends or the maximum has been reached.
How will our office assist you with your insurance?
Whenever possible we accept assignment of insurance checks to our office, and will file all of your insurance claims for reimbursement.
Understanding orthodontic insurance can be difficult. We encourage you to learn as much as you can about your policy to simplify the processing of your claims.
How does my insurance work if your office is out of my network?
We submit the claims for you the same way we do for any "in network" carrier and whenever possible will accept assignment of insurance checks directly to our office. Many insurance companies do not change the orthodontic benefit maximum even when an office is "out of network." Stop by or call our financial coordinators and they can help you determine the amount of your benefit.
