After completing four years of dental school at the University of Michigan, Dr. Tyler received his Masters degree in Orthodontics from Northwestern University where he received several awards for outstanding performance.

Dr. Tyler and his wife Sally live in Birmingham and recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. They have two children, Alex and Molly. Alex graduated from Northwestern University in 2011 with a degree in Environmental Science. He finished his swimming career on a high note as an NCAA All American for the second year in a row! Molly finished her second year at Miami of Ohio in 2011 where she is an education major and swims for the Redhawks.

Dr. Tyler is an active member in the Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontics. He has been voted as Top Doc in Hour magazine for 4 years running. He holds a position on the clinical advisory board at Orametirx Corporation and has spoken to orthodontic associations around the world about the benefits of robotic technology in the field of orthodontics.

Besides moving teeth, Dr Tyler stays active in masters swimming. He recently set 2 National YMCA age group records in the 200 and 500 freestyle events in the 45-49 division. He is an avid golfer, runner and can be seen crisscrossing the city with his dog Ruby. He also plays drums in a couple of local bands that perform in and around the Detroit area when schedules permit.

Dr. Reyes has been a Michigan grad three times! He completed his undergrad work, then dental school, and finally received his Masters degree in Orthodontics from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He accomplished all of this in just 11 years and still found time to serve as class president, and also Chief resident in his final year. The research performed as part of his Master’s thesis has been published in several orthodontic journals.

Dr. Reyes is an active member in the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontics. He has been voted as Top Dentist in Hour magazine for 4 years running. Over 100 hours or continuing education in a typical year keeps him proficient in the latest innovations of orthodontic theory and technique. His most recent article on lingual orthodontics was published by the Oakland County Dental magazine.

Also an Oakland county native, Dr. Reyes now resides in Bloomfield Hills. He loves to tinker and line things up even on his days off. He collects electric guitars and likes to play mostly blues and classic rock. He has built two guitars from scratch and “hot-rodded” several others. His current favorite is his Gibson hollowbody. When he’s not putting the finishing touches on a guitar, you may find him speeding around a racetrack in his race car, mountain biking at a local park, or out spoiling his two little nieces.

An Oakland county native, Dr. Dumas completed his specialty training in orthodontics at Tufts University where he graduated first in his class, and is a graduate of the University of The Michigan School of Dentistry where he was a member of the National Dental Honor Society. The recipient of two Meritorious Service medals, Dr. Dumas also served in the United States Air Force as a Captain in the Dental Corps at Homestead Air Force Base & Andrews Air Force Base.

Dr. Dumas is an active member in the Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists. Over 100 hours of continuing education in a typical year keeps him proficient in the latest innovations of orthodontic theory and technique. He is currently the research lead on our team for using the cutting edge robotic, wire-bending technology to place lingual braces, a popular and more aesthetic option for adult treatment.

Dr. Dumas and his wife Kirstin live in Bloomfield Hills and have two children – son Joey and daughter Lauren. Joey celebrated his 12th birthday in 2011 and can be found at the ice rink four days a week where he plays hockey and Dr. Dumas manages the team. Lauren entered high school fall 2011. Oh how time flies!
